This hefty low-carb Chicken Caesar Lavash Wrap is a great way to pack extra nutrients into a beloved classic.
The Lavash Wrap Is the ONLY Wrap
You’re going to absolutely love this healthified chicken Caesar wrap with lavash! It’s light but satiating, and it’s nourishing without losing the essence of the chicken Caesar wrap we know and love.
And when it comes to wraps, Lavash is a game changer.
What Is Lavash?
You’ve probably been hearing a lot about this Armenian flatbread lately. A nice and traditional homemade Lavash bread is more pita-like, and seems totally worth making. Right now however, Joseph’s Lavash Bread, which is found with the pitas in most supermarkets, is hot.
Not only is it light and low-carb, but it makes the wrapping process incredibly easy because of its rectangular shape and pliable texture.
So if you’re one of those folks (all of us) who love the idea of making a nice and healthy wrap for lunch (like this awesome tuna veggie wrap) but can’t be bothered with the fight against a wrap that wants to fall apart, Joseph’s Lavash Bread will be your saving grace.
What to Serve With This
- A salad is always a great side for a wrap, whether it be a simple side salad or a refreshing Greek cucumber tomato salad.
- A nice warming bowl of homemade tomato soup! Or you could switch things up with this beauty roasted red pepper soup.
- Chips or fries are always create a winning combo with a wrap, but you can switch it up by using oven roasted mini potatoes or air fryer sweet potatoes.
Ingredient Breakdown & Swaps

- Chicken. You can use leftover chicken, say from a spatchcock chicken, cook your chicken up specifically for this meal, or get yourself a rotisserie chicken (or already shredded rotisserie chicken) from the hot food counter section of your grocery store.
- Greens. You can use any greens you want! I do have a suggestion, though. If you’re planning on popping your wrap onto a panini press to warm and crisp it up, I’d go with spinach. Spinach just does better than most other greens when it’s heated. If you’re not heating it up, anything goes!
- Caesar dressing. The most important part. I love using my homemade Caesar dressing because it’s got such a bright and fresh flavor to it. But, as Ina would say, store-bought is fine :)
- Extra veggies. I like throwing some extra veggies in my wrap for added nutrients. In this wrap I typically go for shredded carrots and chopped tomato. Neither alter the flavor of the chicken Caesar wrap.
- Parmesan cheese. A Caesar salad just wouldn’t be complete without it.
- Lemon juice. For an added splash of brightness and acidity, I add fresh squeezed lemon juice and zest.
How to Make Chicken Caesar Lavash Wrap
Pop all of the ingredients (except the lavash) into a large mixing bowl. With a fork, mix until everything is well blended.
Spoon the mixture over the bottom half of the wrap, leaving about 1 inch of space from the edges.
Take the bottom half of the wrap and carefully fold it over the filling, rolling forward to secure it. Then fold the sides in to close and secure the wrap, ensuring things don’t spill out of the ends. Continue to roll the wrap forward until done.
You can either cut it in half and enjoy it as is, or place it onto a panini press for a few minutes to crisp and warm it. Either way, it’s delicious!
Storage & Meal Prep
You can make the chicken filling in advance, and prep your wraps the morning of the day you plan to eat them to avoid a soggy wrap. The chicken filling can be kept in the fridge in an airtight container for 3-4 days.

Healthy Chicken Caesar Lavash Wrap
Ingredients
- 1 Joseph's Lavash Wrap
- 3-4 oz shredded or chopped chicken
- 2 cups chopped greens, Romaine, spinach, spring mix—whatever your preference.
- 1/4 cup chopped tomatoes
- 2 TBSP shredded carrots
- 2 TBSP Caesar dressing
- 1 TBSP grated fresh Parmesan cheese
- 1 lemon, zested and juiced
- Cracked pepper
Instructions
- Set the Lavash aside and place all of the other ingredients into a large mixing bowl. Mix it thoroughly, until everything is evenly distributed.
- Carefully spoon the Chicken Caesar mixture onto the bottom half of the wrap. Leave approx. 1 inch of space from the edges of the wrap.
- Pull the bottom half of the wrap over the filling carefully, ensuring the filling remains secured in place. Roll forward once, then fold the sides of the Lavash in to close and secure the wrap. This prevents the filling from spilling out. Continue to roll the wrap forward until the end of the Lavash.
- You can eat the wrap as is, or pop it onto a panini press for a few minutes until it's crisped and warmed through.

Hi Denise! Since the dressing is mixed in with everything, like a chicken salad or tuna salad, you should be good. It shouldn’t get soggy; Lavash holds up really well and it’s not like we’re schmearing the wrap with the dressing. I hope this helps! Let me know how it goes :)
