Having the will to shop ethically is one thing, but having access to ethical brands is out of your hands. You can only do so much with what you have access to; retailers and suppliers need to be held accountable first.
In order for ethical options to be readily available to you in the first place, changes need to be made within these companies.
Here’s where you come in!
If you’re having a hard time finding welfare-certified brands in your local markets and restaurants, get them a letter. If business owners aren’t made aware that there’s a demand for humanely produced food, they won’t budge. It’s up to us, and the best we can do is ask.
